Gail Haley Papers 1962-1986

Gail Haley's papers focus on her work as an author and illustrator of children's books. The collection contains production material for twenty titles published between 1962 and 1986, as well as production material for several unpublished titles and material for a story published in magazine. The collection includes holographs and typescripts; galley proofs; notes; correspondence; illustrations done in a variety of media, many with separations; sketches and studies done in variety of media; dummies, proofs, photostats, and photocopies. The collection also contains miscellaneous art work, including studies for Christmas, New Year's, and Halloween cards, some art and manuscript material sent to Haley by children, and miscellaneous material.
